Another beautiful day in Laguna.

Welcome to my life. I'm so excited to be able to share stories of all the great people I get to photograph every week. I will also be able to share a
little of my personal life as well. Not only will I be sharing with you my stories but also a little about the great team of photographers that have partnered
up with my studio and the people they photograph. I feel so privileged to call them Jim Kennedy Photographers.
We all love what we do for a living. They say that once you find what you love to do you'll never work another day in your life. That sums up my life exactly. Welcome to my world.

Here are a few images from another recent shoot. It’s actually another type of shoot I may start adding to the studio. It’s a before and after shoot. Where we will do a complete makeover and do an amazing photo shoot. I’m still working on the details. I did this shoot after she had a complete makeover. I still need to get the before image taken at Meleesa’s Salon in Huntington Beach. When she arrived at my studio she was already made up. Check back soon for the before shot.

I wanted to do an update on how For His Eyes Only is doing. It has really taken off. I had so much fun the last couple days shooting a couple sessions. I can’t post any of those images. Can’t spoil the surprise. Once the gift is given I will be posting. Be sure to check out the website. New images are getting added all the time. I also updated all the text sections talking more about the experience and testimonials.

Here are a couple images that I can show.
It’s always fun to incorporate what your man does for a living. Doesn’t she make a great firefighter.

This is one of my favorite shots from another session

Working In Mexico |
Well the last couple weeks I’ve been hanging in Mexico. I had back to back weekends with weddings in Mexico. The first one in Cancun and the 2nd in Cabo San Lucas. I’m in Cabo now getting ready to shoot my wedding in a couple of hours. Since I ws going to be in Mexico I decided to make a little bit of a vacation out of it also. So I invited a few friends down to Cozumel to hangout for a few days. I love Cozumel. It’s a great place to just hangout and take it easy. I also love it for the Scuba Diving. I was here back in June with my daughter. She got certified and it was a blast. Now on this trip it was Stephanie’s turn to get certified. My friend Pete from Generations Entertainment is also a certified diver. So he came along on teh trip with his wife Whitney who joined Stephanie in getting certified.
We had a great group of people on the trip.

Natalie one of my photographers and great friend
Carina from Flawless Faces
Dan for Plug Video
My good friend Mark Cafiero from Colorado
We had a blast. There are so many pics that I would love to blog. Just don’t have the time. But here are a few.
The back yard of the house, not a bad place to hangout

Stephanie working on her tan.

There were some fun toys to play with at the house. Here is Heath going for a bike ride.

Where are Michelle & Natalie going?

Can you believe I actually fell asleep in the hammock next to my wife.

Natalie playing us a song

Mark & I decided we needed a shot of tequila before we checked out the ruins in the island. We could of past on the ruins.

It was so beautiful out at night. This is right outside of our house.

Time for some diving. How do I look?

I was so proud of Stephanie. She knocked out her certification and was right there with us on every dive. We even did a night dive. Which was a first for all of us.

I had to give my wife a kiss under the water.

Stephanie found a friend

Stephanie always working the camera

We even saw a shark on our last dive. He is hard to see in the picture. Look close. He just swam on by us. Very cool.

I hope to blog more photos when I get home. It was such a great trip. Thanks to all our friends who were able to join us on this trip. I hope we can make this an annual event.
